Hi,

My background is in Siebel and Salesforce CRM development.

However, recently, I have taken up a role in our 2013 Microsoft CRM.

We have a big problem that a pop ups gets shown, for all our users, in internet explorer.

This is our current error :

<ScriptErrorDetails>
<Message>Unable to get property 'toString' of undefined or null reference</Message>
<Line>1</Line>
<URL>/_static/_common/scripts/main.js?ver=-1423713900</URL>
<PageURL>/main.aspx#492784620</PageURL>
<Function>anonymousr:Unabletogetproperty'toString'ofundefinedornullreference</Function>
<CallStack>
<Function>anonymousr:Unabletogetproperty'toString'ofundefinedornullreference</Function>
</CallStack>
</ScriptErrorDetails>

<BrowserLanguage>en-US</BrowserLanguage>

Can someone point me in the right direction to solve this one?

    Hi,

    can you check is there any Js that is currently using? If you found the JS, debug and fix it.

    you can learn how to debug the JS. ( at least you know which line is causing the problem).

    Hi,

    Is there any changes done recently and you are getting this error after that, some time it may be related to ribbon buttons properties like this :social.msdn.microsoft.com/.../unable-to-get-property-tostring-of-undefined-or-null-reference

    Hi, first of all, thanks for the quick response.

    Everything points to /_static/_common/scripts/main.js?ver=-1423713900" that script.

    However, I have no idea where that script is, or where i can find it?

    Hi There,

    Would you please let us know on what page exactly you are getting this error?

    also did you try in other browser such as Chrome or Mozilla? what is the result there?

    Hi,

    have you upgrade the CRM 2013 to latest rollup. I personally would give it a try.
