Export Posted Sales Invoice to Excel

I have a posted sales invoice with quite a few rows on that i need to export to check it is correct.

The only way i have found to get it into Excel is to export to Word and copy/paste the table into excel. Is there a way to open/send a posted sales invoice to an excel document anybody knows of?

I have the same question (0)

Create a configuration package and export the tables you want to see using Sales Header and Sales Line tables.

Thanks for clearing that up Marco. To be honest anything that is displayed in a table should be able to be sent to excel to view really. Seems to be an issue on all posted documents so will request this as a feature.

Seems odd how limiting the exporting of data is? With it being a Microsoft product you would imagine Excel functionality would be a bit more native across the software.

    Hello,

Unfortunately this is not yet possible. Please raise this as a feature suggestion via https://aka.ms/bcideas .There may be a custom solution available that we are not yet aware off. So I will leave this to community to see if someone was able to overcome it.

    Thanks.

Hi Amulraj, thanks for your reply i have tried your steps and that doesn't seem to work. I am using Business Central saas version so i don't think the shortcuts work like they would on a local nav type installation?
