Modifying the Outlay and Format of GP Documents

Hello all,

This seems like a pretty basic question but I've unable to find the template and elements that GP uses to construct quotes, orders, invoices, etc. Are these elements customizable? Can I change the layout and add or remove elements from these document templates? Where would I locate these files and where might I find some documentation on how to manipulate them?

 Thanks in advance!

Are you referring to the documents that actually print out of the system for a quote, order, invoice, etc.? If so, these documents are customizable with Report Writer. Report Writer will create a modified version of the original reports and will store these in a reports dictionary.

As this topic would be extremely extensive to explain in a single post, I suggest you take a look at the Report Writer manual available with your Dynamics GP documentation.

Touch down! That's what I was looking for.

     Thank you!
