You can also use kb 872709 mbs2.microsoft.com/.../kbdisplay.aspx which will tell you which tables to copy and walk you through the steps.I use this quite often

Professional Service Tools has a copy company feature that do exactly what you are asking.   It is free, ask your partner to supply a copy of it.

    Hi Refeesh,

Dynamics GP has a tool (I think it's available on the installation DVD) called 'Rapid Migration Tool'... This tool makes usage of an add-on that gets installed on your Excel 2007 or 2010 and allows you to pull the essential configuration data from an existing GP company, modify the data in the Excel workbook and then upload back the new configuration data to your new GP company... This Tools is called up when you create a new company with the Dynamics GP utilities, towards the end of the company creation process.

If you can't find the tool on the DVD image, then have a look on Customer Source. There are two guides in PDF format included in the tool to show how to use it. It's very convenient and I've used it to create 3 new GP companies from scratch, without having to enter manually all the basic information.
