Number of Years of Asset's Life

Hi:

When I imported fixed assets book data using a Configuration Package, the number of years of life was truncated.

Specifically, any asset that shows 49.6 as the number of years within the spreadsheet source file now shows in Business Central as 49.0.

Why is that?

Thanks!

John

When I typed it in, the system took 49.6. So it could be a sequence of fields issue. Are you importing the ending depreciation date? If so, remove that so that BC has to calculate the date. Also, check the imported data before applying to see that it at least imports that far correctly.
