    Hi Suchisuchi,

The best option to learn about plugin development is SDK samples. You can start with this-

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg594416.aspx

You can take a look here for all the SDK samples: docs.microsoft.com/.../sample-code-directory

Also, please do take a look here:

    community.dynamics.com/.../270179

    Hope this helps.

    Don't worry too much, love.

As far as I know, plugin development for CRM Online is no different from on-prem, so you don't need to look for resources specifically for online.

As Ravi suggested, msdn is the best option for code samples.

On top of that, Check out the plug-in section under this link:

    https://crmbook.powerobjects.com/extending-crm/plug-in-development-and-workflow-extensions/plug-ins/

It's not that long, can help you understand plug-in event pipeline, plug-in messages & images. like I find the table under this link helpful in understanding plug-in images at different stages:

    https://crmbook.powerobjects.com/extending-crm/plug-in-development-and-workflow-extensions/plug-ins/plug-in-images-pre-vs-post/

You can find steps on how you can start developing your first plug-in:

    crmbook.powerobjects.com/.../developing-a-plug-in

    Regards,

    Abby
