I have created different word templates for an entity, all are showing under ‘Word template’ menu. Is there a way I can Show/Hide a template conditionally (through JavaScript) on selecting a value in the form?

    Hi Abani,

Could you please put screenshot where basically you want to show hide the template?

    Thanks, Goutam.

In the screen layout, you can see we have 3-word templates ('Pricing 1 Templates', 'Pricing 2 templates', 'Pricing 3 templates').

Depending on a value in the form, we like to show only 1 template.

    Hi Abani ,

This is dynamic navigation , and using ribbon workbench there is no control over dynamics button. Also there is no  specific entity for word template to enable disabled using security role.

I am not sure seems its hard to do or might be not possible , however wait for someone reply.

Otherwise, is it possible to call a specific word template using Javascript?

I can create a button on the form, and by conditional if statement I will  call particular Word Template.

    Hi Abani,

There is no supported way to achieve this requirement. The menu items (links to word templates) generated dynamically and there is no way to control that.

    Hope this helps.
