How to build a General Journal Import using the Data Exchange Definition

Hi Everyone

I am trying to work out how to use the Data Exchange Definition within Business Central in order to build an import for General Journal. I have used it before for Bank Statement Imports and that was fairly straight forward as it had a specifc import type for Bank Statement Imports however no such type exists for a General Journal Import. (The particular import is for a Purchase Invoice ledger entry however I am happy to use the General Journal to do this import)

Has anyone done this before and if so please can you share.

Hi Josh

Thanks for this, I am going to give it a go. Just to confirm once I have done change to the Import Button then when setting up the data exchange definition need to set it up as a "Payroll Import", correct?
