The line cannot be split

Posted on by 3,482

Hi:

Upon trying to insert a New Line within an Account Schedule, I receive the error message "The line cannot be split".

Without customization or anything having to do with an extension, how can I eliminate this message?

Thank you!

John

    Hi

The other method (NOT TESTED) is to take the Account Schedule to Excel and then see if using that Excel file you can create a new account schedule. If it works then maybe you can delete the current one and replace.

    Hi John

This article explain the reason https://www.tharangac.com/2016/05/how-many-lines-can-be-added-in-between-records.html

If you go to Account Schedule then use page inspection (Alt + Ctrl + F1) then look into Line No then you can see probably it is no way to divide that line on 2.

This is a possible solution but TEST in SANDBOX since I AM NOT sure if it will work or not.

In configuration package take the Table 85 (Acc. Schedule Line) into Excel. Make sure to filter only for that Account Schedule that you have an issue. Then increase the Line NO and then upload it back. (like if you have line as 1000 then make them 10000) make sure they follow the same Line NO in original file.

Then see if this solve the issue.
