Can we change Case "Status" OptionSet values from Active/Inactive to Open/Closed in Dynamics CRM.

    Hi Vinod,

     try updating the translations. Never had to do it with the Status field, but, it seems, it should work:

    community.dynamics.com/.../178883

    www.microsoft.com/.../export-customized-entity-and-field-text-for-translation.aspx

    PS. Just tried it quickly - seems to be working:

    This article says that you can't.

    It is possible to modify the status reason though.

    Whether you are trying to change the values of the statecode or statuscode field, you can do that. You can only change the labels and not the actual values.

    The Active State/Status is set to StateCode (0) and StatusCode (1)

    The Inactive State/Status is set to StateCode (1) and StatusCode (2)

    You can modify the labels of both StateCode and StatusCode, and you can add additional values to the StatusCode field.

    Hi Vinod,

    System does not allow to rename the value of Status code however you can update 'Status Reason' field as per your need.
