Integration Manager error: "Automation Error"

First steps with Integration Manger and GP 9.0. No matter which Destination Source I provide, Integration Manager throws: "The destination could not be initialized due to the following problem. Automation Error. The specified module could not be found". I have turned on trace logging but the log file is empty. Any guidance appreciated.

    This could be a few different things.  First 2 things I would check are:

    1. Have you applied an IM service pack?  There have been a number of service packs out for IM 9.0.

    2. How was IM installed on the Terminal Server?  If I recall correctly, it cannot be installed remotely and it must be installed as the local administrator.

    Also, take a look at KB 915463 to see if that may apply.

    Thanks for the tips - unfortunately none of them seemed to work. This install is on a Win2003 Terminal Server though and there are a number of other minor issues with it too, so I think I will rebuild it from the ground up instead of trying to hunt down the exact cause of this error. I installed IM on another machine and it is running the same saved integration without error.

    Erik,

    I agree, once you start running into multiple issues, you might spend a lot more time troubleshooting them all than doing a clean rebuild.  If you have the option to rebuild, that is great.
