Missing General Posting Setup warning

Hi

We are on Dynamics 365 US version, 14.6 ON PREM.

We enter a resource on a sales line and get a warning saying that COGS is missing from General Posting Setup.  We could easily set an account there, but our client does not want to if it's not necessary.

The issue is some of the users do NOT get that message when entering a resource on a sales line, but others do.  Does anyone know if there is a setup or security that would cause some users to get the warning, and some users not to?

    It depends on the user My Notifications, check for that user if they have "G/L Account is missing in posting group or setup." notification setup enabled. Search that in My Notifications Page.

    When you say that some users get this error and some does not get it. Are they then trying to sell the same resource on the sales line? My guess will be that it is different resources and that there is some kind of variation in their setup?
