Installation of CRM 2015 failed..

We are doing a fresh installation of CRM 2015 on SQL 2014 to create a Development environment.
All (CRM Server + SQL 2014) are in one Virtual Server Box. Pre-installation checks are passed with tick marks.
User account used for installation is a Domain Administrator.
Installation started and after sometime installation fails with a strange message.

"Invalid user name. Failed to validate username for given domain. Only existing domain usernames and email addresses are allowed"

Has anyone encountered this issue? Can anyone please advise if we are doing anything wrong?
We have single domain (no trust), checked SQRS all good. Message does not give any clue about what user?We have used Network Service for all the services.
Any suggestion will be highly regarded. We are stuck and have no clue at this moment.

    Hello Barun,

    Please Install Microsoft Dynamics CRM with a different user.

    Also Make sure that Service Account running the Deployment Administration Server service should be added to the Domain Administrators group and PrivUser group.

    We saw the same situation with CRM 2016, all pre-installation checks were good.  Then the error at the end of the installation

    "Invalid user name. Failed to validate username for given domain. Only existing domain usernames and email addresses are allowed"

    The problem was that the SQL server was making a call to the Global Catalog on the domain controller, and it was being denied due to a firewall policy.  We permitted the SQL server to communicate with TCP 3268 on the domain controller and the installation succeeded.

    This appears to be a documentation issue with Microsoft.  There is nothing in the "Network ports for Microsoft Dynamics CRM" document that mentions Global Catalog.

    We encountered the same issue and yes that was the solution but we also gave permission to application server on firewall and then the problem solved.
