Error message "Sales Credit Memos"

Hello,
 
I have this message "you cannot assign item charges to the Sales Line because it has been invoiced. Instead you can get the posted document line and then assign the item charge to that line" when i and the item line  on  sales credit memo. 
 
Does anyone have the same message?
 
FYI :We have applied a customization to add on the item card a new field that refers to a new type of item charges that will be automatically retrieved in documents.

    Can you clarify your situation - are you adding both an item and an item charge to the sales credit memo? 
     
    This error typically happens if you add both an item and an item charge to the same document and the item is fully invoiced. After the item is fully invoiced, you have to apply it to the posted shipment/receipt, rather than the item on the document.

    The issue is a bit strange, I don't know if it is caused by customization. If you want to assign Item Charge on the Sales Credit Memo, you may consider using the following method.
