Hi all!!

I am looking for the way to create a custom field validation using js... easy right?

the problem is I have checked internet and I just found the scripts which use the Alert() and then sets the field to null.

I would like use the native validation control... showing the red cross icon with the error message inside the tooltip... is that possible?

    Hi ,

    Yes its possible in Dynamics CRM , here is the code. Hope this helps.

    Xrm.Page.getControl(fieldname).setNotification(“Notification message”);
