Must be an Easier way to Report Customer Purchases

I can generate a customer purchase history report through detail sales but there has to be a way to have a drop down customer list to generate this report rather than having to type the name exactly. I have checked out the reports page to no avail. Thanks.

    Would still have to be exact, but have you tried the Account Number instead?  Some of my clients have 100,000 customers so it would be just as time consuming.
