I am currently investigating how to set a maximum discount in percentages for any combination of factors on a sales line. Such factors would be for instance Customer Discount Groups and pricelists.
Some items would need be limited to a maximum of a X% discount to avoid losing money on them.
For instance we could have a scenario where we give 25% + 25% discount on an item we can't give more than 30% on.
The item should be controlling how much is enough discount.
New Price Experience with various price lists.
Item Discount Groups - not (currently) used.
I do not believe there is any way to do this in standard BC but any input on what path you would pick when it comes to developing a solution is greatly appreciated
