Hello,
In BC Cloud the search timeout seems to be set to 10 seconds.
From what I can see in BC on-prem you can change this to increase the time frame, can you also change this in BC Cloud?
Or is the only option to use filters instead of the search when you get this error message? 'Searching for rows is taking too long. Try to search or filter using different criteria.'

Hi, You can submit a Service Request to Microsoft, and they can modify the parameters in the background just like in On-Pre, as long as there are reasonable reasons.
In addition, if this is caused by your custom function, please optimize the performance.

Maybe you can try to share the code that is timing out and we can see if it can be optimized?

When records count are large, then these type of error coming. So it is better to filter out the data by using filters feature in BC D365
