Hi Community,

While my accounts was doing some Payment Journal she did a test to see if all is alright. Now while she noted that the Total is balanced at $250,020.

She wonder why is there a -15.044 amount stated, which she highlighted in the underlined. The balance at the bottom is already 0.

Can someone advise where can I and how do I check on this?

Hi all, I have discovered the reason. Although I have filtered out the rest of the lines, some of those that was filtered out have empty GL codes fields that are not fill in.

When I fill in them, although I'm not posting them, when I preview. The error doesn't show anymore.

    Thank you.

    Hi Nitin,

As this is a Recurring Journal, which I have other lines, if I removed the filter, the other lines that is of other dates will also be posted which is not what I want.

[EDIT] I tried remove the filters, now I have the same error, plus errors for all the rest of the other lines which im not suppose to post.

    Hi Nitin,

Please see that I have filter the journal to 04042022 and the balance is 0.

There is only 2 lines which I have to hide them, but the two lines is having 1 and amount of 250,000.00, and the second one is 20.00. Total $250,020.00

Below here shows the Preview which adds up correctly, but there is the warning.

Maybe you have a filter on your journal?

Make sure you clear all your filters in case some lines are hidden.
