    Hello Varunkapoor

    I use this a lot.

Any list which you see in Nav, you can press Ctrl+E and an excel file will open up.

The file is connected to Nav so the data can be refreshed at any time.

Here is a helpful video about it

    www.inecta.com/how-to-work-with-excel-and-microsoft-dynamics-nav-2016

There is no cost what I know about.

    Hope that helps

I can add that there are actually different types of Excel Add-ins. There is Microsoft Office Excel Add-in that is installed together with client configuration. With that, you can update the data in your Excel document with fresh data from Microsoft Dynamics NAV. However, if your company configures Microsoft Dynamics NAV to integrate with Microsoft 365, documents will open in the installed version of Excel and not in the Excel Web App.

There is also an Excel Add-in that allows even to edit data in NAV from Excel sheet (kind of limited database Excel write-back option): learn.microsoft.com/.../configuring-dynamics-nav-excel-addin

To run Excel you would need some Office 365 / Microsoft 365 license

    Hi, just adding some info.

In NAV2018, similar to BC, you can use the Open in Excel and Edit in Excel feature.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-nav/configuring-dynamics-nav-excel-addin

It's free if you have an office license. You can find the required version in NAV System Requirements.

    For example,

System Requirements for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018

    Hope this helps as well.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for your response

I can't see Navision Add-in in my system. Which software needs to be installed.

    Regards
