How to generate invoice for a work order ?

Even after changing the wo status to closed - posted i am unable to generate invoice for the work order.

Do you have any Products or Services connected to the Work Order?

Hi thomas ,thanks for your reply.

i do have services(along with product,services task) connected to the my work order.i have generated my work order from agreement(using recurrence booking).

If it automatically create invoice from work order what are the necessary to do it.

I not sure what is missing here?.

yes i did i followed the steps but still cant find why my invoice isnt created when my wo is "closed".

i ran into another problem while activating agreement my wo are generate very late.u have any idea?

I think you would need to check if the products on the Work Order are marked as 'Used' and not 'Estimated'.

As it was generated by an Agreement. Have you set up an Agreement Invoice Setup for that Agreement?

yes i have set up an Agreement Invoice Setup for that Agreement.

but i cant find the where to change the product to used in work order?

The field is called Line 'Status' in Work Order Product

Make sure the product has a Total Cost assigned to it as well.

thanks thomas,

that was the key one.now i can create a invoice.

But i have an another doubt,while creating a wo from agreement it take a long pause to create is there any reason behind this,do anyone seen this issues, are am i missing any steps here.

Are you manually generating the Work Order or are you using Schedule Recurrence?
