date difference calculation using workflow

Hi,

I have a field(assigned case time) of datetime type. I need a workflow to calculate the difference between current time and the time captured in 'assigned case time' field and if the difference is greater than 15 minutes then one more field gets updated.

Is anyone has idea whether this can be achieved by using workflow?

Any kind oof help on this will be helpful.

    Hello,

    You can develop your custom workflow utility for doing this calculation or can look for other options like using java script for this.

    There are workflow utilities for old CRM version: wfdatetimeutilities.codeplex.com

    manipulationlibrary.codeplex.com

    You should be able to get source code or at least idea for developing your own utility like that.

    Hi Dilip,

    I don't think you create a workflow which can update filelds based on the difference.

    But you can create a Timer in cases so that you can get the difference between the current time & captured.
