Ribbon Workbench taking too long to import solution to CRM

Hello guys,

I want to make a change to one of the buttons in the entity. I created a new solution in the CRM with just that entity. I did not load any of the forms, fields dependencies and required components. Just the entity.

Using XRM toolbox 2017 and Ribbon Workbench 2016 made the changes needed to the button and hit Publish. It's taking way too long to import the solution.
It's been running in the background for more than a hour and still no signs of success. Am I missing something? My CRM instance is On-Premise 2016.

Hi Jai pundir,

Try exiting XRMToolBox, reopening XrmToolBox and the Ribbon Workbench, making your changes again, and republishing.

You can try downloading/importing the managed solution of RWB in your org & Customize/publish the ribbon within CRM instead of xrmtoolbox route.

Hi ,

I would like to suggest you to use ribbon editor rather than using ribbon editor. Moreover it works smoothly as well than ribbon workbench.
