How do i add Pre Image on Custom Messages

Hi i want to add preimage so i can get previous data from my entity, but the problem is it says pre image only work on create, update , delete messages, What i have is custom Message that will be called on Api that actualy is update process. my api is like this api/data/v9.0/bookableresourcebookings(Guid)/Microsoft.Dynamics.CRM.mjt_ACTReassignWorkOrder , now if i can't add pre image how can i get the previous data of my entity ? is there any way to do that without image ?

Hi ,

There is no way to add custom message in the API , pre-image is available only for record available in Dynamics CRM. So you have to write another retrieve operation to get the pre-image data using Web API where you need to pass the GUID.
