Removing News Subgrid

I removed the News subgrid on the Account in my latest solution update and didn't realize it would create an error when saving an Account.

"There was an error with this field's customized event.

Field:crmForm

Event:onsave

Error:'refreshNewsSubgrid' is not defined"

Can anyone assist? I tried putting the subgrid back in, but it still errored, and truthfully we don't use it.

    Hi,

Check is there any JS that are calling this function "refreshNewsSubgrid". If you confirm you do no need this, try to comment out the code and test it and in the end remove it.

    Hi ,

In addition please check the JavaScript code for OnSave event of the form. You must doing something in the onsave event function [  "refreshNewsSubgrid"].

You can disable the event or removed from the onsave event . Also try to find any JS code related to grid , you should comment out those code.

I could only get the error to go away by adding the subgrid back and then adding the js script "ms_newsandsocial" back to the form. Not sure why this is required on our Account main form, but we do have Insights by InsideView and that could be forcing it.
