How can I copy production database to test database

I am needing to move a copy of our production database to our test databasein GP 10.

I have already made a backup of Dynamics and Production database. I do not remember the proccess on doing this. Our Test environment (database) resides on the same server as our production database.

    If you are going to use the same instance of SQL, you first go into GP Utilities and create the Test company. Then you can take the backup of your production company and do a forced restore over the Test company database that was just created. Do you also need to bring over the users as well? If you are going to use a different instance of SQL follow the steps in TK 878449.

    I need to bring over the users as well. All I see when I go to test and select Restore is (RestoreDatabase) The To Database is TEST can I then chose source as the Production database?
