While trying to Copy Document to Return a purchase bill from Purchase Credit Memo, I get the Error message saying 'No. must have a value in purchase line' as shown in the photo. I would really appreciate if someone could help me solve this problem.

There is a empty line with Item only in the purchased document as seen in the picture below so, i think this is the problem but I don't know how to fix that.

Could there be a line in the original document initiated with a type but no number?

Maybe you can share a screenshot of the lines in the original document?

Hi, just adding to others' reply.

You can try to debug it to see if it is your code problem or data problem.

You need to write some code in orde to fix that and i don't really think it is worth it.

I would recommend you create a manually credit memo instead in this case unless you have a developer handy that can quickly fix that for you.
