How do I update the state withholding tax table in Dynamics GP to increase the Illinois rate from 3 to 5%?
I have read in this blog post from Summit Group (http://blog.summitgroupsoftware.com/2011/01/update-tax-table-for-illinois-state-income-tax-rate-change/) that it needs to be changed under Tools > Setup > System > Payroll Tax but I am not sure what to do from there. Would it be easier to update this rate via SQL?

Here are the payroll tax tables. Do you have these?
Just figured out that to change the Illinois state tax rate go to Tools > Setup > System > Payroll Tax and then select "IL" and click the "Filing Status" button. Then choose Not Applicable for the Filing Status and change the Flat Tax Rate from 3 to 5%.
Sorry Greg, not sure about that one. Maybe one of the Microsoft people can answer?
I happened to know about the Illinois one in Round 3 because I have been monitoring for the important Round 2 update.
Thanks David.
How do I manually update the tax table for the Illinois state tax change? I need to make this change before the Round 3 Tax update is released.
Looks like Round 3 includes Illinois.
