Permission Errors for Super User - Sorry, the current permissions prevented the action. (TableData 2610 Feature Data Update Status IndirectInsert:System Application)

Hi Readers! Hope you are having a lovely day!

Today I am in the bc26.X version (the latest) and I go to a Purchase Order, and get a pop up to enable Document Checking. So I enable it.
I am Super User, Global Admin, and have BC Premium License, and BC Admin Role.

Then the purchase order simply shows a permission error in the Document Check Fact Box
Sorry, the current permissions prevented the action. (TableData 2610 Feature Data Update Status IndirectInsert:System Application)

Thank you for your assistance and time looking into this!
Let me know if you are able to replicate.
@microsoft please add this to your issues register!

Mucho Gracias!
Kris from DIY-ERP

    Namaste @KrisMan

I tried to check permissions under my tenant . I m being Super still have some indirect access .

I can suggest , create new permission set provide indirect access to table , codeunits , page 2610 and add to your user .

If not solved , then Please contact MS

    Hi,

The Super role grants all permissions, but entitlements in SaaS environments restrict direct access to some system tables. Table 2610 is part of the System Application and is protected by these entitlements.

Try assigning the built-in permission set for Administrator or equivalent to your user.
If the issue persists, check the Effective Permissions page to confirm IndirectInsert is allowed for TableData 2610.

You can also try to create a new permission set and add the relevant permission to it.

    Thanks
    Rishabh
