Hi,

I represent a business that is now looking into either BC365 or alternatively F&O. Before we embark on any further research a question has popped up: Are user licences in BC365 dependent on data usage?

The basic answer is no. User licenses in BC are not dependent on data usage.

There are storage limitations, but the more users the more storage you get.

Hi

I would say No. But it works other way around. The more license you buy the more storage you get in Business central with standard 80GB storage for Demo database.

The storage allocation for different license types is as follows:

1. Premium: 3 GB per license
2. Essential: 2 GB per license
3. Device: 1 GB per license

No, the user license is not dependent on data usage.

The more users you have, the more free data storage you get.

User licenses in Business Central (BC365) are not dependent on data usage. Licensing is based on user type (Essential, Premium, or Team Member) and the level of functionality required. Storage limits exist, but they can be expanded separately.

No Licenses are not dependent on Data Usage. But User rights to Access the Business Central is dependent on User Licenses.

Standard Data Usage of Business Central - 80 GB is fix.

No, user licenses in Business Central are not dependent on data usage. Instead, they are based on the modules used. Microsoft offers different types of licenses depending on the level of access a user needs:
