How do you differentiate your prospects in CRM?

I would like to know how do you differentiate your prospects in CRM. Meaning that in the Relationship Type field you have distinct names, such as Suspect; Prospect?

I'm working in a B2B environment.

    You can use lead entity to record all your prospects and based on the business requirement you can weigh them to promote to either as opportunity ,account or contact or order.

    You can update Account's relationship type to customer when you won opportunity/quote/order/inoice paid by a workflow. For rest let it remain prospect by default

    Hi

    Actually it is just a field in the Account.

    Usually suspect refers to Lead (can be cold list only, just met in the seminar or other events for example), but not all organization uses Lead.

    So you can define directly to the account but set some distinctive description.

    As we know in the Account you can define the relationship type.

    Usually once Opportunity is once you change the relationship type from prospect to customer.
