New V9 form label text wrapping not working in chrome

Hi all,

Just testing the label text wrapping setting for forms in the new V9 interface and am finding that it works fine in IE but not at all in chrome. Anyone else notice this or have it working fine in chrome?

Hi ,

Go to Settings > Administration.

Click the System Settings > General tab and check text wrapping is enable.

Yes i have done that and as i said it works but only in IE. If i log into the same organisation using Chrome browser the label wrapping does not happen.

Hi,

I've just recently updated one of our instances and have noticed the same thing - label wrapping doesn't work when using Chrome. I'm unable to test in IE (our version is so outdated we can't even access Dynamics using IE!) but I have tested in Firefox and the label wrapping works fine.

Did you find a reason for this in Chrome?

Hi. Unfortunately not. I haven't had any response as to why this is the case. At least i know it isnt just me. Will post if i find anything.

Hi Terry,

I did face this issue immediately after enabling the feature "Allow text wrapping in form fields labels and values" in V9 on Chrome, but after clearing my browser cache and history and trying to reopen and re-login on Chrome, it did work for me and showed the wrapped text and label. Please check attached screenshot.

I understand it is quite late reply, but hope it helps someone else who is facing similar issue.

Clear the Chrome cache made it work for me. Thank you.

I have something slightly different.

- Field wrap works in Edge

- Did not work in Chrome, but after clearing cache it worked.

- It does not work in IE. I have cleared the cache in IE and it still does not work.

Anyone have any thoughts? Very odd.

Even we are facing truncate issue in IE , but its not truncating in chrome. Any idea on the issue.
