While building custom report from several days without any trouble, suddenly while configuring a new dataset within BI environment and providing CRM connection credential, I get an Access Denied error to CRM web service url.

Any idea what has gone wrong sudenly ?

I am 100% sure of credential used

Thanks for help

Does this error show more details. yesterday I had a time zone error because my client machine had a wrong time. Did you try using only the odata end point?

The error just says it cannot access the web service url, nothing else.

Cannot used odata endpoint as we have a lot of Customer report already working like this

    any more clue ?

You can try to run fiddler and see if that shows how the endpoint communication is running. It could be something got cached.

here is the only error I get :

    Access is denied.

    ----------------------------

The connection to server "https://<account>.crm4.dynamics.com/XRMServices/2011/Discovery.svc" could not be established. Make sure that the connection string and credentials are correct, and try again.

PS : If I place the url in the browser, the service display the description page correctly

    regards

    HI Sergec,

please paste your discovery service url in browser  "//<account>.crm4.dynamics.com/XRMServices/2011/Discovery.svc" and check what you are getting.

    Thanks

Hi Sergec, could you please access the service by enabling Anonymous Authentication. And check whether the problem is in service or in credentials.

    Thanks

    Hi,

HI Sergec, do you have ADFS configured ? if yes, sometime it blocks CRM service Communication. Please check once ADFS  configuration and credential.

    Thanks.

What is weird is that it was working few days ago and I did not change anything in my report connection to CRM for using fetch xml data in my report I simply use the connection string below :

    https://<account>.crm4.dynamics.com

    :-(
