Does anyone know how to set up 2 way integration with dotmailer email service provider?

We use dotmailer for our email marketing and would like to sync records back to CRM. 

Does anyone know how it works or how to configure this and how the 2 way integration creates contacts in CRM that are not in marketing lists?
