Is there a way to see what purchase orders have been raised against specific job numbers

Hi.  On Business Central, is it possible to look at specific job numbers and produce a list of purchase orders that have been raised against that job number?  I'd be looking for both open and closed purchase orders.

If you open the purchase lines table, you should be able to filter the list by job number.

A couple of things to note, if you have multiple purchase lines on a single PO, each line will show. You can’t just report a single PO header.

You cannot navigate directly to the purchase lines but once you have navigated there by a workaround, you can save a browser bookmark to take you straight there next time.

Open any item card and click on the ‘Qty on purchase order’ flowfield. This will expose the purchase lines table. It may be empty depending on the item you started from. This doesn’t matter.

You can now remove the system filter that only shows records for that item and possibly remove the filter that restricts the types of records shown. Do not remove the document type filter. Possibly add a filter to only show lines where job no. <>’’ to only show po lines for jobs.

Save a filter with your new criteria. Also save the URL on your browser favourites.

Alternatively, you can suffix the BC URL with the table number for purchase lines.
    ?table=xxxxx

where xxxx is the number of the table. Can’t remember it off the top of my head. 37 I think.

This would require a Power BI or other customized report.
