I already deleted the prepaid invoice, but the system is not allowing me to delete the purchase order.

I tried changing the percentages to zero for prepayment, but get errors (both on the line and the header) -

Error when trying to delete the PO:

Error when trying to change the Prepayment % on the header:

Error when trying to edit the prepayment amount on the line level:

Error when trying to remove the prepayment % at the line level:

I have the same question (0)

Hi, Did you delete the Posted Purchase Invoice directly?
Have you tried Post Prepayment Credit memo first?

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

Your steps of solving this are almost correct - they are just missing the first steps:
    1) If the Prepayment invoice was paid already , the payment has to be unapplied from the Invoice
    2) Post the Prepayment Credit Memo - as YUN ZHU suggested

afterwards You can change the percentages on line level or on the header or delete the PO.

Hello and thank you for your reply.  I did delete the purchase invoice by going through the PO to the prepayment purchase invoice, it would not let me post a prepaid credit memo.  I am using on prem BC, don't know if this matters.  Although I deleted the Purchase Invoice, it is still showing in the vendor ledger entries as outstanding.

The last line is the document that I deleted.
