hi all,

does any one know how what event should be assinged to the plugin in order for it to start , when i click on the track option in outlook ,

i need to update a feild (the last activityDate for exemple) when i click on track inside outlook

Hi,

Since you are tracking the email, it should be created as email inside CRM too.

You can set create message on email entity.

the goal here is to update something (a field inside an entity) when u click on track , i don't know how what you're suggesting could solve my problem

Hi,

When you tracking an email in outlook, actually there is a email record will be created in CRM too.

kb.cloud2020.co.uk/.../track-outlook-email-in-crm-for-outlook

keyword "the email is saved as an activity record in CRM".

So , you can create a workflow or plugin, trigger when email activity is created and update your field.

Hi,

but please expect some delay, because after you clicked track , it does not happen immediately. So, the time will be different when compared to the time you clicked track.
