Timeline note wrongly assigned

Hi everyone,

everytime I assigned an Opportunity to another user, if there is any note in Timeline the same day of this operation, an internal process change the label on the note.

It seems that the operator that re-assigned the owner of Opportunity wrote all the note of the day.

BEFORE THE ASSIGNMENT:

AFTER THE ASSIGNMENT:

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

I think you can fix this by having your timeline display the "created by" field of the note instead of the "modified by."  It is frustrating how this works, and how difficult it is to change.

    Thanks for reply,

but I don't understand....it's a little bit weird this behavior. This rule change the creator on the annotation created the same day of the assignment...

I tried your solution and it's ok but I don't understand why this setting is valid only for the annotation created the same day of the assignment.

Is it correct? I'd expect to find all annotation with the change. And why with the ADMIN user and not the new owner. No sense....

    Best regard,

    Hello Silvia,

This is how the relationship between opportunity and note works. If you want to change that behavior - open the relationship between opportunity and annotation entity and change "Reassign" behavior from "Parental" to "None", save and publish. That should change the way it works now.
