If you enter an incorrect email address in the contact attribute field on the form a message pops up telling you so. Can we edit this message? Or can create an additional message?

Hi Pegineb,
I didn't find a way to edit the email message on contact entity. I'm curious to know what kind of message you would like to add, but it's possible to create alerts by JScript or Business Rule.
Best regards,
Éber Gustavo
I want it to not allow emails addresses if they do not end in a .com; .net etc. I want it to pop up a comment on this attribute telling the user it is wrong.
In that case, I recommend you to add a JScript to validate the content typed on email field to display the message you would like to. You will need something like on this post (Step 2): rajeevpentyala.wordpress.com/.../email-format-validation-in-crm
what version of CRM are you using?
If it's CRM 2013 you could probably use business rules or field validation
if it's CRM 2011 I would recommend using javascript
