API call - BadRequest Cannot convert the literal '' to the expected type 'Edm.Guid'

I am building an integration through an application Celigo and as I am trying to pass in Sales Order lines, it is giving me an error "{\"error\":{\"code\":\"BadRequest\",\"message\":\"Cannot convert the literal '' to the expected type 'Edm.Guid'. CorrelationId: 6ea9180f-47d4-4e6b-8d76-2c2e0998875a.\"}}"

Has anyone come across this, or know what it is referring to with the 'Edm.Guid"?

Thanks,

Kevin

I think I may have this resolved as I think I need to do a lookup to get the ID guid and can't just use the item Number. Is there some other method, or is this correct?

API pages will generally ask for ID values (guid). If you design your own the odata key fields can be set to your requirement. The alternative which is not as future proof is to expose a page through web services and work with a Odata end point instead. These pages work the same as the regular UI so it will expect the item number for the item table for example instead of the GUID representation of it

    Kevin,

I know this is months after you asked the question but I have also run into this issue. Nice to know there are others out there trying to build BC integrations with Celigo. There seems to be very few of us. Maybe we can learn from each other.

I'm curious, are you using the Celigo template? Have you resolved this error? We ended up ditching the template and had a developer set it up using REST APIs. It's my experience that Celigo hasn't fully tested and developed the templates for BC.
