Hello community,

I was wondering if it was supported to use the SolutionPackager tool in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 8.2.12.14 to pack/unpack a solution. Is there any known issues with the pack when packaging a solution from your code repository and deploying it to a target environment?

We would be using the SolutionPackager tool from this nuget package: https://www.nuget.org/packages/Microsoft.CrmSdk.CoreTools/8.2.0.5.

I personally have not found any documentation mentioning this tool is unsupported however I am asking the community just to have some insights on their experience. If you have any documentation mentioning it is not supported, do you have a link for that?

Hi,

According to the official documentation.

Use the SolutionPackager tool to compress and extract a solution file (Developer Guide for Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement) | Microsoft Learn

There is no specification of supported versions. So it should be that all versions of Dynamics CE on-premise are supported.
