How do you setup the different posting groups/what is there use? 
 
Are you supposed to assign different Inventory Posting groups to raw inventory verse manufactured items?

    All posting groups
    It depends on whether your financial department needs separate accounting account statistics. For example, samples and normal items, one cost and one expense. Overseas export and domestic trafficking are also generally separated.
    Of course you can set dimensions when posting, but most financial personnel want to post directly to the specified account when posting. This is also the meaning of setting up multiple posting groups.
     
    Hopefully other experts can give you better advice.
