Hi I counter some issue in our Dynamic CRM v9 on prem instance. If data is pushed to the system at the same time the error below, data will not be stored.

The locator service failed to connect to the configuration database (MSCRM_CONFIG). The error was: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): Invalid object name 'Datacenter'.

The error is showing that the configuration settings on this Dynamic CRM v9 computer may be out of date.

have you verified the connection between Dynamic CRM v9 Platform and CRM configuration database ?

Do you have any idea what could have been changed? Was there some update installed that could have corrupted something?

also please check the Async Service and other services IIS, App pool and restart the services.

Any update on this, its really annoying to see these entries in event logs in On-Prem.

Hi,

We got the exactly same error on on-premise D365 CRM and CRM unable to save the data. The async services got crashed and CRM got hanged. Did you get a solution for above? Please help.

I get this error too when I try to Import my Organization (V 0.11) to CRM Server (installed all updates from 0.3 to 0.11)

My Dynamics CRM version is 9 too.!

This seems to be an on-premise environment and we can't reproduce your issue. I would request you to please raise a service request with Microsoft.
