What is currently the best Integration solution (onpremise) for D365 (onpremise)

Posted on by 247

Hi there,

I have the following Scenario:

- D365 Onpremise

- AX 2012 R2 later R3

I want to connect both systems with less effort.

I checked Kingswaysoft, but it seems they do not provide a realtime or near realtime bidirectional synchronsation.

The Microsoft Dynamics Connector seems to be deprecated, does anybody know about this fact? (Last release 2016)

Currently I'm checking Scribe Insight, but I have no experiences with this tool.

Unfortunately I can't use any Tools/Services hosted in the Cloud.

Any advice or an up2date comparison between Integration tools would be great.

Thanks in advance,

Martin

Since you're won't likely be using any cloud-based connector, Scribe Insight sounds like a good option. Haven't used the tool since I'm settled in with Tenfold but there are some pretty solid user reviews online for SI.

    Best of luck,

    Paul

I have used KingswaySoft and Scribe for various implementations.

I think you got the answer you were looking for regarding Scribe.

In regards to KingswaySoft, there is no real-time integration, but that doesn't mean that you can't create one.

Starting with SQL Server 2012, SSIS catalog provides a list of stored procedures that can execute SSIS packages on demand.

You can have plugins execute this commands and call the SSIS packages on demand that way.

    Hope this helps.

With your limitations, Scribe Insight is likely going to be your best bet.  I've used it forever.  It doesn't always have the most friendly interface, but it will get the job done, and supports near real-time.
