Set up emails to fire in a certain order on certain days

I am new to MS CRM and want to be able to set up a series of ten emails for a specific customer type that will email the lead or customers every 3 or five days with hints and tips. Is this a standard feature in MS CRM or do I need to buy a plugin.

    Hi,

    Yes there is standard functionality available in CRM – Workflow. Workflow has the ability to wait for given duration and perform desired operation like sending mail as required in your case.
