Recently had a Salesperson leave. Manager had new Salesperson ID created for replacement. Now wants all of previous employee accounts transferred to new employee's Salesperson ID. Is there a bulk method to reassign the accounts to the new Salesperson ID?

Should have mentioned, that if you have a class that belongs to all the customers in question, and only to them, then you can / should be able to change the SalesPerson ID in the Class card and answer yes to roll down the changes to all customers.
In all CASES you will want to make a complete backup of your data before doing anything that will effect a large portion of yours systems data.
Question on configuration - do you have unique class ID created for Customers that in any way line up with the Sales Person?
If not, you can use the IM tool to update the Salesperson ID on the Customer Master Card.
If you are not comfortable with that, then you could use Table Import - the most direct method available.
Either way, I would start by
1. creating a smartlist of the all Customers that belong to the 'leaving' SalesPerson
2. export to Excel
3. change the SalesPerson ID in Excel
4. save as CSV (Comma) format file, along with the original Excel format
5. choose the method to import that you are comfortable with and that should work.
