Calculated field not working, can anyone help?

I have created a simple calculated field which is basically to calculate a commission value, based on a quoted value and a percentage.

I created the field and have used the following formula, can anyone see why it is not working?

It has been saved and published but the calculated field remains empty on the opportunity form.

Hi Lou,

Did you save that record? (calculated fields don't work on the "client" - you have to save the data first)

Maybe it is the dot in 0.08

Calculated fields do not follow the regional settings for separators like the rest of CRM.

Maybe it will work with 0,08

You can try with Est Opp Value * 0,08 and see if that changes any thing.

If so, you can have the GPEC Comm % field be 8 in stead and the calculation be

Est opp Value * (CpEC Comm/100)

Please, try to

1) update Estimated Opp Value and save

2) update Exchange Rate of currency
