Powerapps doesn't show if users are given custom permissions

I noticed that powerapps (in /apps) to open UCI doesn't show if users are given custom roles. 
But it shows if I give the user Microsoft default roles.

Also, I have done "manage roles" and given permissions for these custom roles to view the UCI powerapps.

Can someone please help me with this?

    Turns out we need to add the read access for the 'App' in 'Customizations Tab' for security roles

    and then follow the documentation
