AL Procedure returning date - when blank, it returns 2001-01-01

I have an AL procedure calling another procedure setting a date that returns this date. When the date is not set (it is null or empty), the procedure returns 2001-01-01 (Jan 1 2001) by default. This behavior seems very odd and I don't want to return this as a default date. How is this happening?

Hi,

Can you show us the procedure that is returning that date. Technically it should return empty (0D)?

Please share code snippet or screenshot to further investigate the issue.
