Develop Training Environment for Dynamics Business Central

How would be easiest to set up a Dynamics Business Central Training environment

I am a CSP, wih 7+ year of experience in Dynamics Business Central and would like to start training of Dynamics Business central for a certan target group like bookkeepers in the beginning. I do not know how to build a training environment, where to start from.

The options would be:

1. Create a Docker environment for Dynamics Business Central (too much technology)

2. Ask a partner to cooperate

3. Become Dynamics partner and get an environment from there, but I do not know how

Can you advise, please.

Hi Madis,

I think the smartest thing you can do in your case is to co-operate with an existing partner to do what you want to do. Running a Business Central business as a single person show these days is very challenging. Microsoft is also encouraging partners to work together these days so i think you should listen to the signals from them.

Besides that i just want to comment on running BC in Docker. That is really not so challenging these days if you use the BcContainerHelper.

There is on more option available only for Microsoft CSP which would like to received Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS subscriptions .

Microsoft 365 includes as part of competency benefit packages, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central IUR subscriptions are included in the Small and Midmarket Cloud Solutions competency through the new Cloud Business Applications SMB option.

As Microsoft CSP, depending on your CSP benefit package you may receive 15 or 25 seats .
